We’re excited to announce that Hillier Trees has achieved ISO 14001 Environmental Management accreditation for the 5th year! 🙌

This recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to sustainability. Together with #PlantHealthy, ISO 14001 forms the foundation of our production principles, guiding every step we take to ensure environmentally responsible practices. 🌱

A huge shoutout to our production team at the Andlers Ash field tree production site in Hampshire who put in an incredible amount of work to make this possible!

As cooler temperatures arrive, we've begun lifting

As cooler temperatures arrive, we've begun lifting our field-grown trees!🌳 Here's a few key rootball care tips to keep in mind:

➡️Keep the rootball moist until planting, but avoid overwatering. Check often to prevent drying out.

➡️ Our rootballs are secured with biodegradable hessian and non-galvanised wire to support the rootsystem. When planting, keep these in place - they'll naturally break down, allowing roots to establish in their new home.

➡️ Avoid planting too deep. This can suffocate the roots and hinder growth.
